The darker the colour of a fruit or vegetable, the more the anti-oxidants and phytonutrients. The deep red of the watermelon is full of watery goodness.
Add in a dash of mint and it gives a nice twist to the already divine taste of these sweet and refreshing fruits.
There is really nothing to this recipe. Yet, it looks and tastes so good and takes only a few minutes to make, if you count the chopping of the fruit!
So take some watermelon, chop it and take out all the seeds. If you don’t mind the crunchiness, leave the seeds in as they are highly nutritious too! Cool it in the fridge for a chilled treat. Now blend with a few leaves of mint and enjoy!
